Alex Crawford of CB7 has advised of Sanitations schedule post blizzard. This is what they have told her:
With an unprecedented number of emergency snow shovelers, Sanitation workers are able to both continue operating salt spreaders and snow plows, while also beginning to collect trash and compostable material.
The Department is asking New Yorkers, if possible, to hold their recyclable material until next week.
Be assured that: Trash and compost collection will be underway Wednesday, and New Yorkers should follow their normal schedule, even if material is collected at a different time of day than they are used to.
Thank you, Alex for the information.
