Holiday Food and Toy Drive

Now through Sunday, December 12th and the 14th

The Third Annual West 104th Street Block Association Food and Toy Drive

…is starting this week! Boxes will be distributed to buildings this week – either Monday or Tuesday – and will run through next Monday evening (Dec 12). Collection at 320 Riverside Drive will continue until noon on Wednesday (Dec 14). If you live in a brownstone or off block you can make donations at 320 Riverside Drive lobby.

FOOD ITEMS

Nonperishable food items such as soup, pasta, cereal, juice as well as canned vegetables, fruit and proteins

TOYS NEEDED TOO

Please consider donating new/unwrapped toys as well as appropriate gently used toys (e.g. jigsaw puzzles, card games). Toys will be redistributed to nonprofit organizations Womankind, Not4gotten NYC, and/or Toys for Tots.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The Block Association is looking for volunteers to help manage donation boxes in 315 Riverside Drive, 895 West End, 905 West End, and 309 Riverside Drive. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Peter Littlewood at peter.b.littlewood@gmail.com.

BOX DECORATING

We are also encouraging buildings to decorate their donation boxes and send in photos of the finished products.
