How to Donate to What-A-Bargain

Ready to do a little summer cleaning and sorting? Wondering what to do with new or gently used possessions that you do not want?

Don’t regift! Donate to What-A-Bargain, a hot spot at the West 104th Street Yard Sale where shoppers find great deals and make purchases that support our Block Association.

BEST SELLERS INCLUDE:

• Jewelry
• Toys
• Charming bric-a-brac
• Unopened personal care products
• Ceramics/pottery
• Musical instruments
• Bicycles
• Complete games and puzzles

We regret that we cannot sell and do not accept clothing of any kind; heavily used pots and pans, outdated electronics; items missing pieces; and anything that has touched someone’s body or mouth, such as clothing, hats, drinking glasss and coffee mugs.

To donate, first contact Joyce Mann by email to determine whether your donations are saleable. Then, arrange a convenient time for you to deliver your items to Joyce at 309 West 104th Street (the building in the middle of the block on the north side of the street). You may deliver from September 15 to September 29.

Please do not leave items with the doorman of any building. Because we have limited staff and resources and cannot pick up your donation, you must bring them to Joyce. We thank you for your efforts and apologize for any inconvenience.
